Central TAFE's English and Access programs are designed to assist as pathways into further TAFE study, the workplace, or for individuals who may not have completed year 10 or 11.
Community Learning and Partnerships courses include many short courses.
Central TAFE also offers specialised courses for Indigenous students; people with disabilities or learning difficulties; and adult migrants who would like to develop their English skills to further their education and/or employment opportunities.

English language tuition is provided under Central TAFE's Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP).
The program is for newly arrived migrants and humanitarian entrants who do not have functional English.
AMEP helps students improve spoken and written English skills, learn about the Australian way of life and access opportunities to move into further study and employment.
The program is funded by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship.
