International Centre

The International Centre is dedicated to the personal, academic needs and wellbeing of International Students studying at Central TAFE.

International Centre staff offer friendly, specialised support and guidance for students from initial contact through to graduation to ensure that your experience at Central TAFE is an enjoyable and rewarding one.

With the combination of quality training, facilities, activities and study outcomes you can expect a smooth transition to the next stage of your journey, whether it be TAFE, University or into your nominated profession.

ELICOS 
English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students

Central TAFE delivers fully accredited English courses that are regulated by government and offer high quality outcomes for our students.

Our English courses are available full-time (22 hours per week) and students may enrol for between 5 to 50 weeks with continuous entry available.

Compliance with NEAS (National ELT Accreditation Scheme) standards and criteria positions Central TAFE as a high quality provider of English Language programs in Australia.

Student Advisors

The International Student Advisors are your official point of contact within the International Centre. Your advisor has up-to-date details of Central TAFE’s support services to ensure that you have a safe, enjoyable and rewarding place to study.

• Visa conditions
• Study area liaison
• Change of personal details
• Orientation information

International Student Counsellor

The counsellor’s role is to support you in achieving your educational goals and enjoying your time in Western Australia.
The counsellor can assist you with educational matters or
personal issues.

Counselling sessions are free of charge and confidentiality
is assured.

Study Area Staff

Study area staff and lecturers are available to provide students with academic support specifically related to the course in which you are enrolled, including:

• Timetables
• Course requirements and pathways
• Delivery and assessment
• Academic matters

English Language support

English language support is available for all International students I award courses at central TAFE. This support may be included as part of your timetable or course, or alternatively you may enquire at the International Centre.

Accommodation

Central TAFE does not provide accommodation however we can provide information about accommodation options available.
